Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §40-13-50, an Order Establishing a Traffic Violations Bureau was entered February 6, 2015 for the handling and disposition of certain traffic cases alleged to have occurred in DeKalb County.
House Bill 77 Legislation passed in July 2021 and made effective January 1, 2022. The new law, provides that the current Jury Division be renamed DIVISION A. The name Jury Division will not be used on and forward of January 1, 2022 and shall be referred to as DIVISION A of DeKalb County State Court.
